Exhibits

The Museum of Crafts has gathered a few thousand showpieces, presenting utility handicrafts characteristic for the south east of Poland, with particular emphasis placed on the city of Krosno and the immediate vicinity. A significant part of the collection was assembled by the craftsmen and donated to the museum in 1990.

The most attractive exhibits:
SkrzyniaChest - the end of the 18th century, smith's craft, richly decorated, witch a ratchet mechanism.

Warsztat stolarskiForge with the equipment the end of 19th century, it contains a large collection of planes that were used for making decorative slats; the most precious part of the workshop is a lathe which originally was used by Andrzej Lenik and a chair richly decorated by floral ornaments, made by Lenik at the beginning of 20th century.

KuĽniaForge with the equipment - the end of the 18th century, smith's craft, richly decorated, witch a ratchet mechanism.

ZegarmistrzostwoWatchmaking exhibits - the turn of the 19th and 20th century, exhibits connected to history of the building - the showpieces closely related both to the history of building and to the activities run by Michał Mięsowicz, the founder of the Tower Clocks Factory and the clockmaker's owner, such as reconstructed tower clockworks, fragments of watches made in Mięsowicz's factory, wall clocks and watchmaker's tools.

TkactwoWeaving exhibits - the turn of the 19th and 20th century, original devices and tools, such as swingles, spinning wheels, a loom, that had been used before the industrial methods of fabric manufacturing were introduced.

KrawiectwoTailoring and dressmaking exhibits - the turn of the 19th and 20 th century; an interesting collection of early Singer sewing machines and irons with various types of heating as well as tailor's dummies. Many of these items were used by Krosno tailors and dressmakers Wiktoria Kustroń, Józef Kluz, Antoni Szpotko, Tomasz Wojnar.

Eksponaty związane z szewstwem, rymarstwem i siodlarstwemSaddlery, leathercraft and shoemaker's exhibits - the beginning of the 20th century, a collection of tools and devices i.e. shoetrees, knives, pincers, tongs, hammers, awls etc. that were used in the whole process of obtaining the finished products of each handicraft from various kinds of leather. There is also a big collection of women and men's shoes, saddles and elements of horse harness.

FryzjerstwoHairdressing chamber - the 20’s of the 20th century, made of oaken wood by Stanisław Pudło, equipped in Vienna - style armchars, it contains various tools that were used for hair curling, beard shaving, moustache twisting etc.

ModniarstwoMillinery exhibits - the beginning of the 20th century, a collection of devices, hats and artificial flowers made in Jadwiga Romanowska's workshop from Krosno.
