Museum lessons offer
Educational programme of the Museum of Crafts in Krosno is prepared on the basis of the permanent exhibition History of Craft in the south east of Poland
and current exhibitions, with a special focus on the key issues concerning history of the town and region. The offer is aimed at preschoolers, primary and secondary students, special school students and groups of disabled children and youths. There is also a possibility to organise lessons for university students (the subject is decided on individually with a group).
The offer is diverse and adjusted to participants' age, interests and educational level. Lessons are conducted not only in the museum, but also in the Piwnica PodCieniami Gallery and within the area of the Old Town. The persons giving the lessons try to make them more attractive by using some museum exhibits, additional teaching materials, audio - visuals, multimedia teaching aids, and popular - science films. With the groups of younger children there are also some elements of amusement provided in the form of games and educational plays combined with arts and crafts activities. Lessons are designed to be interactive and engaging and they have already enjoyed popularity among both children and their chaperones.
